Apple Island Wife winner announced

Thanks to those who entered last week’s giveaway to win a copy of travel memoir Apple Island Wife - Slow Living in Tasmania by Fiona Stocker. During the giveaway the book hit #1 in Travel books Australia and the giveaway was included in Ganeing Ground Tasmania Daily News which was exciting.

The winner was drawn today and congratulations go to:

May
This is the ninth giveaway May has entered so I was pleased when her name finally came up. Congratulations May! I’ll be sending you an email shortly with the details.

Stay tuned for more chances to win with my bumper birthday stack giveaway coming in March and a children's picture book giveaway coming soon! Hopefully there'll be something for everyone. If you want to see giveaway dates as soon as they're locked in, you can check my Giveaways page.

Thank you Tracey and Shellyrae.
I am so very excited as I’ve had my eye on this book for the last six months. My partner is Tasmanian and as we are both hitting retirement age we are looking to relocate. Bill is an old farmer and is interested in farming ......errr....peacocks (His brother serves them for Christmas lunch in lieu of turkey). And I’ve been watching a house on the market that Errol Flynn used to live in and have visions of b& w movie nights with champagne cocktails.
Thank you so much.
Keep reading, peeps .

Thanks Shelleyrae, and you're very welcome May. How amazing that you've had your eye on this book for so long and then you won it in my giveaway!! Sounds like it was totally meant to be. The house in Tasmania sounds lovely, fingers crossed you get that too :-)

Congrats on winning my book, May!! I'm excited too that you've had your eye on it for a while and will now finally get to read it. I hope it whets your appetite for Tasmania... and can I please have an invite to champagne evenings in Errol's house!!??
