  1. IN the world? What if I bring my starship into orbit? Starship captain being my dream job #1 (currently foiled by technology, or lack thereof).

#2 is Pegasus Courier Rider. I'd love to have a Pegasus to ride, and delivering stuff all over the world would be amazing. (Currently foiled by mythology-technology incompatibility. This pains me).

#3 Published novelist. I want a book with my name on the cover! (Currently an active work in progress, at least the writing part!)

#4 Psychologist specialising in animal therapy with PTSD and dementia clients. (Currently in first year of... lots for qualifications. But I'll get there!)

  2. I'd love to be a holiday/organised tour critic! (is there such a job, ala a food critic, but paid to travel and write articles on organised holidays/group tours around the world. But just the fancy ones ;)

  3. Thanks for your 'outta this world' suggestions Selwyn, of your four choices, I'd personally have to go with 'published novelist' as my dream job.

And Alana b, thanks for your entry too. Are you saying you want to be the next host on Getaway? Sounds good to me :-)

Good luck to you both, I'm hoping the author will help me select a winner.

  5. Oh that's an easy one. I'd love to be a writer. (A real one who earns enough to not have a 'day job'!)

Of course I'd also never suffer from writer's block and be constantly inspired by my engaged and witty mind. Or something. ;-)

  7. My dream job would be "home stylist" styling and tweaking homes for sale! I loud love to use my artistist skills and Feng shui knowledge to create a picture and a feeling of warmth so people can see themselves living there........A far cry from the banking world!
However published novelist is also on the list! My fathers story was colourful and would make a good but dark story!

  10. Simple. Wine taster. Although this current heat wave in Queensland has me wondering if being a Swimming Pool Cleaner is an option as a summer career.

  11. Oooh, wine taster, I wonder if anyone will re-consider their entry after hearing that.... heheheh

For a pool cleaner, you'd have to stand by the pool in the sun most of the time, I think it'd be hard not to just jump in for a swim.

    Thanks for your entry May.

I could go on forever!
